Kimimaro, Guren & Sasuke: Orochimaru’s Ultimate Kekkei Genkai Team

Hey guys, welcome back to another blog. For today’s blog, we’re going to be talking about the potential and power scaling of Orochimaru’s top three vessel candidates: Kimimaro, Guren, and Sasuke, and Naruto and Naruto Putin, but in minor detail. Guren, Kimimaro, and Sasuke are Orochimaru’s prime top three candidates who, at one point in time, Orochimaru saw fit for either of these three to be worthy of him taking control of their bodies.

And I often wonder who would have been the perfect candidate and who would be the strongest in Naruto and early part of Naruto Shippuden. Starting with Kimimaro, who we were first introduced to at the time of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc in the original Naruto series, who prior to Sasuke was Orochimaru’s top vessel.

And it’s hard to say where a sick Kimimaro ranks in comparison to a fresh, prime Sasuke. And I honestly say it could be a draw, it could go either way between these two, although I think Kimimaro would have a slight edge, just a little bit. But however, if Kimimaro did not have his sickness holding him back, I would definitely say a healthy Kimimaro slaps fresh Sasuke at this point, no questions about it.

And as for Guren, we were introduced to this crystal release ninja in the Three-Tail Filler Arc, who made her canon debut on one of the last episodes of Naruto Shippuden. And a Shippuden Guren definitely stomps a sick Kimimaro, undoubtably, no questions asked. And fresh Sasuke as well.

But let’s take it back to fresh Sasuke, where Guren would scale then it would be a tough battle for her. But I honestly believe Guren would be able to best a sick Kimimaro, and dare I say even Sasuke at that time. Even though Orochimaru himself decided to make Guren his top vessel at one point in time after Kimimaro became ill, being shown to single-handedly take down an entire town on her own as a child.

And fresh Sasuke, I would rank him slightly below a sick Kimimaro, but he clearly has the most potential out of all three of those characters. And moving on to Shippuden part one, Kimimaro clearly ranks at the bottom because, you know, he died. So it would be between Guren and Sasuke, and it’s tough to say because when Guren and Sasuke met, Guren was intimidated by Sasuke.

But then, I look at Guren’s feats with her being able to single-handedly, as a female ninja, go toe-to-toe with the Mangekyo Kakashi and Oodama Rasengan level Naruto, Rock Lee, all at the same time, and even temporarily incapacitating and being able to go toe-to-toe with the Three-Tails Bijuu all by herself.

And, she is shown being able to activate the Eight Gates like Guy in Rock League, so Guren has strengths of her own. I will do blogs on them and how they scale to each other, again separately. But, I think I might have to go with Sasuke on this one. I mean, when you really think about it, Sasuke took down and suppressed the Nine-Tails, although it was only half of the Nine-Tails’ chakra because Minato had the other half.

But, he defeated Orochimaru and Deidara, so I’m honestly gonna have to go with Sasuke. But honestly, it could be close to even. But, I’m gonna go with Sasuke in this fight, but again, I’ll go in full detail in a separate blog. Sasuke barely wins, just barely. And who knows, I might change my mind in the next blog breakdown blog I do of these characters.

But just imagine, could you guys imagine if Sasuke, Guren, and Kimimaro were like a three-man team, Team Orochimaru? Oh my god, they would wreck everyone in Part One and Shippuden, literally everyone. But that marks it for this blog. Let me know what you guys think about these guys in the comment section below.
