All About Bleach Gotei 13 Squads – Main Squads Of Bleach!

Bleach, the Japanese anime series that started all the way back in 2001, finally ended in 2018. It’s been a long and arduous journey for fans of the series to see it reach such an impressive milestone.

There’s been a lot of excitement lately with breaking news and the release date for the final arc in the “Thousand Years of Blood War” anime. This series will be released by Studio Pierrot on October 7th, not only to visualize fans by its amazing animation but also impression not only Bleach fans but also anime fans around the world by the outstanding Bleach Gotei 13.

Bleach has distinctive characters. The art style is unlike any other, and the process of designing the characters is what draws the former artist to this particular manga. The two classes of entities in this world are the normal humans and the Shinigami. With their job, it is to kill and free souls wandering the earth.

There is a location known as Soul Society, which the Shinigami squads operate from. Let’s learn more about the Bleach Gotei 13 Squads – or, better yet, call them the 13 Divisions of White Division Imperial Guards.

Known outside the borders as the Gotei 13, this Organization began its journey from the beginning of time. A collection of thirteen powerful Shinigami who met on July 4 and founded a brotherhood against spirits unknown to anyone else in Soul Society.

When they complete the training at the Shinigami Academy, they try their best to join the organization.

The Bleach Soul Grimoire is an extensive and detailed book that will tell you everything you need to know about the Soul Society. The organization was founded by the grand master, “Genryusai Yamamoto.” He was always the head of the Bleach Gotei 13 Squads.

As shown in the image above, the first members of La Cosa Nostra were the deadliest and had no mercy for their enemies. They were feared by everyone and played a huge role in ending the Quincys.

Even the current Head Master, “Shunsui Kyoraku,” has described it as the strongest Gotei 13 squad he’s ever seen. Members like Yachiru Unohana, Genryusai Yamamoto and unnamed members have been incredibly powerful.

Quincy may be known for their god-like powers, but they certainly aren’t known for chivalry or mercy. Ywach, the leader of Sternritters and master of Quincy, said that the 13 divisions of Bleach Gotei 13 were just for show and did not guard the human world with any heart. They only guarded it to justify their existence.

Yamamoto, the leader of the Onmitsukido, was the most dangerous of their number and never flinched, even when he had to kill a subordinate who betrayed Soul Society.

After defeating the Quincy’s and freeing the soul society, peace was restored thanks to the Soul Reapers.

The purpose of the Bleach Gotei 13 is to help protect Soul Society from Hollow and Arrancar threats.

In that resolute duty, the Bleach Gotei 13 are constantly on the lookout for being infiltrated or attacked by unknown forces.

They are allotted into groups, where a captain handles their warriors and assigns work.

The Soul Society is made up of different districts that are assigned to each squad. These districts are given a number, and it’s your job to defend this number.

Every captain has a different set of rules for their squads. Furthermore, normal Shinigami also get a set of work where they need to enter the human world. Most of the time, it is to defeat a hollow that has been feeding on human souls.

Tensions may arise between Squad players who are restricted to their own squad area. If this happens, the Captain in charge of each unique squad will be notified and captains caught doing that may face disciplinary action.

The other team does not suffer the same punishment of the captain’s shinigami. The Gotei 13 are divided into 13 divisions, which are all represented by the color of their seal.

Whenever a captain is assigned to a squad, they have to keep in mind the rules of the Central 46 before taking any decisions that could affect the Soul Society.

Each of the Captains has unique but extravagant powers hidden within their swords. The Captains are the strongest in the series and are definitely worth watching!

The New Thousand Years of Blood War Arc will be an exciting roller coaster of revelations as we see the real Bankai of Captain Kenpachi Zaraki, and also learn about Urahara Kisuke’s Bankai.

Captain Toshiro cannot forget about his Bankai–it makes him ultra cool. He becomes a giant adult version of himself, while retaining his original badass design and fighting style.

Now we’ll have to break seven parts of Soul Society down just so they can rebuild again.

The head captain Shunsui Kyoraku and his Bankai, which is a broken technique and the power it holds still has many abilities.

When the leadership of the Soul Society believes there is an event that could affect the Bleach Gotei 13, they all assemble in the main hall of the First Division Headquarters.

Every problem has a best solution, and asking strong captains to figure it out is the only way. The best captains all come together to share ideas and vote on what their team should do.

However, especially during the most serious of situations, Shunsui is usually in a very calm and composed state.

Now, let’s turn our attention to one of the most important figures during the War with all the Espada, which is Shunsui Kyoraku. This Quincy was able to gain prominence due to his contributions in a time where he had a difficult time making any progress since the offensive capabilities of the Gotei 13 were crippled, primarily because of their involvement with the ongoing conflict between Soul Society and Hueco Mundo.

Before anything else, the captains of the Soul Society need to be strong in order to protect it from all evil beings.

The Seireitei is different from the Soul Society in that its protection is not guaranteed. If members of their squad do not possess incredible superpowers, then the Seireitei will remain safe. However, if they’re incredibly powerful, then that safety net is removed and no harm can befall them.

To lead the Bleach Gotei 13 Captains, one has to be stronger than all other Shinigami at once. In order to do that, they must help someone on the squad become strong enough to be their captain.

To become a captain of the Bleach Squad, you first need to have these qualities. After that, time will tell if your work is up to snuff.

The Bankai test is especially common, with aspiring lieutenants required to show their bankai.

At least 4 captains need to be present in order to perform this in the presence of the Head Captain.

This is the most common way to become a Bleach Gotei 13 squad captain.

A challenger can fight the captain of the guard in front of 200 shinigami.

When a player is knocked out, the winner is automatically declared.

Kenpachi Zaraki is a figure of legend in the Soul Society. With plenty of experience in taking on weaker opponents, he’s quickly made his way to become one of the youngest Captains and great sword wielder of Soul Society.

There’s only one case we know of where a candidate fought the captain, and it was in the 11th division.

If a captain recommends a candidate and wins approval of 3 of the other captains, then he becomes a captain.

Toshiro and Gin are one of the rare examples of people who became a captain from the relatively easy method of being born into captaincy.

A Lieutenant works as an officer who is the second seated officer in their division. This particular officer can also be called a vice-captain or substitute captain.

The Lieutenant is a respected individual, both in the squad and other squads, who has the authority to order around his subordinates as he sees fit.

It depends on the relationship of the lieutenant and captain.

Captains will only go out in the day when there is a big obstacle or danger that needs their attention.

The Lieutenant oversees the squad and ensures they fulfill their duties and missions. They also handle most of the business operations.

There are variations of Bankai. Some Lieutenants like Kenpachi’s division, know how to use their Bankai but the Lieutenants only know how to activate their Shikhai.

When there’s no captain aboard, it’s up to the lieutenant to take over leadership. If they’re not strong enough, they’ll call upon another squad member who is strong and can fill in for the missing position.

Powerful captains and lieutenants in the Bleach Gotei 13 wear insignias that represent their identities. When their power is lowered, you’ll see these marks on their bodies.

Each of the trinkets has a deep meaning about the morals and values of their squad.

Shinigamis, including the captains, wear a specialized white clothing known as the “shihakusho” that translates to the garment of the dead. The rest of the Shinigamis wear their standard black uniform.

With the uniforms they wear, Lieutenants have a smooth transformation in a club setting. They’re able to blend in with the rest of their squad and get down to business without being noticed.

The White Haori is Yama Ji’s specially created piece of clothing that had been sitting in his closet for quite some time. He was furious when he found out that Zaraki and Byakuya lost their shinigami uniforms in the Hueco Mundo arc, and Shunsui literally doesn’t remember where he kept them last.

There are a lot of Haoris for captains, and the design varies by who wears it. Some like Sui Feng, Retsu Unohana, Byakuya, Mayuri and Rukia have their Haoris designed in a way similar to Shunsui’s.
